Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case inclusion criteria: A physical examination was conducted at the Health Management Center of our hospital, aged 65 and above, voluntarily participating. Patients with sarcopenia were diagnosed according to the 2019 diagnostic criteria of the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGC). (1) Muscle mass and body fat were measured using a body composition analyzer, and the relative skeletal muscle mass index (limb skeletal muscle mass/height (m)) was calculated. (2) Male<7.0 kg/m2, Female<5.7 kg/m2; (2) Using an electronic grip strength meter to measure grip strength, male<28kg, female<18kg; (3) Both men and women have a normal 6-meter walking speed of<1.0 m/s. If the subject meets (1) and meets (2) or (3), it can be diagnosed as sarcopenia. Diagnostic criteria for obesity: those with a body fat percentage greater than 60% of the study population. Diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia obesity: those who meet both the diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia and obesity. Inclusion criteria for control: Select non muscular obese individuals who underwent physical examinations at our hospital's physical examination center during the same period as the case as the control group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Case exclusion criteria: Patients with severe organ dysfunction such as cardiovascular, liver, kidney, etc., communication disorders, or poor compliance. Control exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the same case.
