Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to the Department of Critical Care of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from December 7, 2022 to July 7, 2023, =18 years of age, diagnosed as COVID-19 Coronary Disease according to the 2019 Coronavirus Disease Guidelines (9th Edition) issued by the National Health Commission of China, met the Berlin diagnostic criteria for acute respiratory distress syndrome, admitted to the ICU for less than 24 hours, and received mechanical ventilation were included in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who were less than 18 years old, pregnant women, had contraindications for prone position (such as chest malformation, unstable spinal injury or fracture, skin lesions opposite the ultrasound monitoring area of the lungs) were excluded.
