Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosis of COPD according to the Global Obstructive Lung Disease Initiation (GOLD) criteria (exertional expiratory volume in 1s (FEV1)/exertional spirometry (FVC) <70%), while in GOLD stages?-?; (2) MMSE score between 23 and 27 (maximum total score is 30, with 23-27 indicating MCI;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Inability to follow RMT instructions or complete questionnaires for our study due to cognitive impairment; (2)history of stroke, high-risk cardiopulmonary disease or orthopaedic disease within the previous 4 weeks; (3) Diagnosis of lung cancer or history of thoracoabdominal surgery; (4) A body mass index (BMI) of =30; (5) pleural disease or thoracic deformity (6) visual or hearing impairment (7) receiving medication that may cause cognitive impairment (8) completed pulmonary rehabilitation within the last 12 months or currently participating in an exercise programme (9) Severe cognitive impairment/dementia (Montreal Cognitive Assessment score <17) or other diagnosed neuropsychiatric symptoms.
