Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients meet the diagnostic criteria for AECOPD (updated in 2017) , GOLD stage I to IV, age>45 years old, PaO250 mmHg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest requiring emergency tracheal intubation and invasive mechanical ventilation; Weak spontaneous respiration and coma; People with ventilation dysfunction; Extremely severe type I respiratory failure (oxygenation index<60); Hemodynamic instability; Mental state changes and inability to cooperate; Prone to aspiration; The secretion is thick and large in volume; Craniofacial trauma or burns; Fixing nasal foreign bodies; Recent facial or gastroesophageal surgery.
