Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged 18-60 years who need micro-apical surgery. (2) CBCT showed periapical lesions with a maximum diameter of 5-10 mm and cortical bone defects. (3) Single anterior teeth or premolars with chronic periapical inflammation requiring apical surgery. (4) PD of the affected tooth (or after periodontal basic treatment) is less than 3mm, and the gingival margin is not obviously red and swollen, and it is not loose.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Preoperative or intraoperative examination found that the affected tooth has a root crack or other reasons need to be removed. (2) Patients with developmental jaw cyst or tumor could not be excluded by preoperative clinical or CBCT examination. (3) To exclude the acute infection, if the acute infection control can be evaluated again screening. (4) Patients with a history of maxillofacial surgery due to tumor/trauma/orthognathic reasons were excluded. (5) Have a serious or uncontrolled systemic disease. (6) Postoperative image examination showed that the quality of root tip preparation and backfilling was not satisfactory.
