Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Neurological critical patients admitted to the Intensive Care Department from September 2023 to August 2025 2. Age>18 years old 3. Estimated patient hospitalization time>3 days 4. Willing to accept this experiment and sign an informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are unable to obtain ultrasound images of muscle fat; 2. Patients with incomplete clinical data; 3. Having primary motor dysfunction or clear neuromuscular diseases; 4. Lumbar spine, pelvis, lower limb trauma or surgery; 5. Limb defects; 6. Redness, swelling, bleeding, etc. at the measurement points of both lower limbs; 7. Expect death or seek palliative treatment.
