Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients diagnosed with heart failure by a cardiovascular specialist; (2) cardiac function grade 1-4; (3) age =18 years; (4) clear speech, literacy, and ability to co-operate with the completion of interviews and questionnaires related to this study; and (5) agree to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) mental illness or cognitive dysfunction that prevents them from understanding the content of the questionnaire; (2) severe chronic diseases such as liver and kidney impairment, lung failure, tumours, etc.; (3) history of metabolic diseases such as hypothyroidism; and (4) amputation.
