Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ?Diagnostic criteria: A. Diagnosis of elderly diabetes: refer to the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetes in the Chinese Elderly (2021 Edition): typical diabetes symptoms (three more and one less) and random venous plasma glucose = 11.1mmol/L; or fasting venous plasma glucose = 7.0mmol/L; or oral glucose tolerance test= 11.1 mmol/L. Elderly diabetes refer to the patients = 65 years old,diagnosed before age 65 or age 65 and beyond. B. Diagnosis of ASCVD: refer to the 2013 ACC/AHA blood cholesterol therapy guidelines for reducing the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in adults, including acute coronary syndrome, history of myocardial infarction, stable or unstable angina, coronary artery or other revascularization, atherogenic stroke or TIA, atherosclerogenic peripheral artery disease. ?Simple diabetes group (DM group): = 65 years old, < 85 years old, meet the diagnostic criteria for elderly diabetes; volunteer to sign informed consent, with good compliance; ?Diabetes with ASCVD group (DM+ASCVD group): = 65 years old, < 85 years old, meet the diagnostic criteria for elderly diabetes with ASCVD; volunteer to sign informed consent, with good compliance.

Exclusion criteria: ?Patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction;?Patients with infectious diseases;?Patients with malignant tumors;?Patients with blood system diseases;?Patients with other metabolic diseases
