Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with insomnia: the symptoms of the consultation met the diagnostic criteria of ICSD-3. (2) Healthy subjects: healthy, no complaints of sleep disorders (e.g., insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, etc.), no OSA (i.e., AHI < 5 /hour), periodic limb movements (PLMI < 15 /hour) or other sleep disorders as indicated by overnight PSG monitoring.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for patients with insomnia: 1) medical factors causing nighttime sleep disruption (e.g., itching and pain); 2) current mental illness status (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression disorder); 3) current or past use of antidepressants, anxiolytics, sedative-hypnotics, or other psychotropic medications in the past 3 months; 4) sleep-related limb movement disorders (e.g. periodic limb movement index based on PSG, PLMI = 15 beats/hour); 5) other sleep disorder co-morbidities (e.g., narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, etc.) found in the collection of sleep disorders; 6) other major cardiopulmonary disorders (e.g., coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), cerebrovascular disorders, endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes mellitus, Cushing's syndrome, etc.), and hepatic and renal disorders found in the collection of medical history. syndrome, etc.).
