Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? Western medical diagnosis meets the diagnostic criteria for essential hypertension; ? Those who did not achieve ideal blood pressure control, as evidenced by office blood pressure systolic blood pressure (SBP) =140 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure (DBP) =90 mmHg on 3 measurements not taken on the same day; ? Those taking Western antihypertensive drug therapy before the start of the study or on day 1 after the start of the study. ? Age between 18 and 80 years old, gender is not limited; ? Patients voluntarily participated in the trial and signed an informed consent form, with a high degree of obedience and co-operative attitude.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary hypertension, hypertension during pregnancy. 2. Patients with cardiovascular diseases such as acute coronary syndrome, severe heart failure (NYHA class III or above), severe arrhythmia, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, etc. 3. Patients in the acute stage of cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral haemorrhage and cerebral infarction. 4. Those who take sedative and sleeping drugs. 5. Shift workers. 6. Those suffering from severe liver or kidney dysfunction, hematopoietic system diseases, malignant tumours or those with an expected survival time of less than one year. 7. Those with serious psychological disorder, mental retardation or speech disorder. 8. Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant.
