Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with end-stage osteoarthritis of hip and knee who are scheduled to undergo total hip and knee arthroplasty in the Department of Bone and Joint Surgery of our hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) elevated inflammatory indexes in preoperative examination; (2) Preoperative examination shows that there are other system-related diseases that cannot tolerate surgery; (3) Autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc. cause cervical spine instability; (4) Those with difficulty in preoperative assessment of the airway; (5) History of pharyngeal or laryngeal surgery.
