Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infants and young children undergoing general anesthesia for surgical procedures during the neonatal period (birth to 28 days), infancy (29 days to 1 year), and toddlerhood (1 year 1 day to 3 years)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Infants and young children with severe asphyxia or respiratory distress syndrome, severe congenital heart disease, severe liver or kidney disease, genetic metabolic disorders, central nervous system developmental abnormalities, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, or severe intracranial hemorrhage will be excluded
