Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aligned with the diagnostic criteria for peripheral vertigo-related conditions outlined by the Chinese Medical Association in the "Multidisciplinary Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Dizziness/Vertigo in the Elderly." (2) Individuals aged 18 years or older but no older than 80 years were included. (3) Participants consented to receiving scalp acupuncture electrical stimulation treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Experiencing severe cardiovascular or mental disorders and deemed unsuitable for electrical stimulation treatment. (2) Central vertigo cases. (3) Individuals with a pre-existing history of depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental illnesses prior to the onset of their condition. (4) Individuals complicated with severe conditions like stroke or cancer. (5) Participants who withdrew or disengaged from the study. (6) Participants who subjectively declined to undergo scalp acupuncture electrical stimulation treatment.
