Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age > 18 years old, regardless of the diagnostic label, with shoulder pain (> 3 months). 2. The visual analogue pain (VAS) scores of the participants were =3. 3. Be able to understand and use Chinese correctly and express yourself clearly.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Red flag signs of physical therapy: malignant tumor, systemic infection, dislocation not reduced, shoulder instability, acute rotator cuff tear, nervous system injury, severe osteoporosis. 2. Shoulder pain caused by other diseases: referred pain (myocardial ischemia, diaphragmatic pain), malignancy (apical lung cancer, metastatic lung cancer), rheumatic polymyalgia. 3. Other conditions that are not suitable or unable to complete the treatment plan, such as changes in cognitive function, senile muscular atrophy, physical activity, low-intensity laser therapy, electrotherapy, or short-wave diathermy are contraindications for treatment. 4. A history of shoulder fracture or surgery. 5. Patients who have had shoulder physical therapy in the last six months.
