Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Inclusion criteria for rotator cuff injury group ? Hospitalized patients in the Department of Sports Medicine, aged 40 and above, regardless of gender; ? It has been definitely diagnosed as rotator cuff injury (including rotator cuff tear and non rotator cuff tear) through shoulder physical examination, X-ray examination and shoulder MRI examination; ? DXA bone density examination has been conducted to diagnose or rule out osteoporosis; ? Shoulder arthroscopic surgery has been performed; ? Those who voluntarily cooperate with the requirements of this study and sign an informed consent form. (2) Inclusion criteria for non rotator cuff injury group ? Age 40 and above, regardless of gender; ? The rotator cuff injury has been clearly excluded through medical history, clinical symptoms, shoulder physical examination and X-ray examination; ? DXA bone density examination has been conducted to diagnose or rule out osteoporosis; ? Those who voluntarily cooperate with the requirements of this study and sign an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Exclusion criteria for rotator cuff injury group ? Age < 40 years; ? Rotator cuff injury due to acute trauma; ? Comorbid diseases including shoulder arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc.), fractures, bone tumor diseases, patients with other diseases affecting bone metabolism, long-term administration of drugs affecting bone metabolism, congenital and acquired disorders of bone metabolism, etc; ? Those who had received anti osteoporotic drugs or non pharmacological treatments (excluding basic treatment) within six months before enrollment or those with long-term persistent use of drugs that might affect bone calcium metabolism; ? Those with a history of abuse or dependence (within one year) including alcohol, tobacco, drugs or drugs. (2) Exclusion criteria for the non rotator cuff injury group ? Age < 40 years; ? Shoulder fracture, bone tumor and other diseases; ? Those with a history of abuse or dependence (within one year) including alcohol, tobacco, drugs or drugs.
