40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a symptomatic MMPRT planning to undergo unilateral surgery after failed conservative treatment for at least 6 months 2. Patients with medial compartment osteoarthritis and mild to moderate pain 3. Patients with a nearly normal range of motion (flexion contracture < 10°) 4. Active patients of all ages who had good compliance with the postoperative rehabilitation protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who refuse to undergo second-look arthroscopy 2. Patients with a history of knee injury 3. Patients with a lateral meniscus tear or discoid meniscus 4. Patients with knee instability 5. Patients with a varus knee deformity of > 10° or flexion contracture > 10° 6. Patients with severe patellofemoral arthritis 7. Patients with severe medial compartmental osteoarthritis with excessive bony erosion or knee subluxation 8. Patients who did not accomplish a minimum follow-up of 2 years
