Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Confirm through MINI interviews that the patient meets the diagnostic criteria for DSM-V depressive disorder or bipolar disorder, and is currently in the stage of depressive episode (HAMD>17 points) or anxiety episode (HAMA>13 points); 2. Age range from 18 to 60 years old (including 18 and 60 years old), regardless of gender; 3. Junior high school or above education level, able to independently read and understand informed consent, self-evaluation scales, etc; 4. The patient agrees to participate in this project research after reading their informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of mental genetic disorders or other mental illnesses; 2. Patients with traumatic brain injury or a history of coma; 3. Those with organic brain disease or serious physical disease (such as thyroid disease, lupus erythematosus, diabetes, infection, major trauma, etc.); 4. Individuals with previous seizures or a family history of epilepsy; 5. Those who have undergone treatment other than medication (such as ECT, rTMS, etc.) within the past six months 6. Suspected or confirmed history of alcohol or drug dependence; 7. Taking psychoactive drugs or participating in other clinical trials; 8. Inability to provide sufficient informed consent due to intellectual or behavioral impairments; 9. Exclude MINI diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizophrenic affective disorder, schizophrenic like disorder, delusional disorder or current mental symptoms, post traumatic stress disorder (current or within the past year), or poor mood; 10. Yang's manic score is less than 5 points.
