Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) high-quality CBCT images of complete root formation of the mandibular first molar can be obtained 2) each subject had mandibular first molars with distal lingual root

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)The mandibular first molars were treated with root canal treatment 2)Coronal or post coronal restorations were existed in mandibular first molars 3)The mandibular first molars have root resorption or periapical lesions
