Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly patients with AO type 1 and type 2 intertrochanteric fractures and aged >85 years with one or more underlying diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, renal failure and anemia were selected for this clinical trial study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cases of anticondylar intertrochanteric fractures, open fractures or fracture sites combined with skin or soft tissue infections.
