Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Meet the criteria for diagnosis and classification of stroke established by the Fourth National Conference on Cerebrovascular Diseases; ? Cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage confirmed by CT or MRI; ? Clear consciousness and stable vital signs; ? Onset and duration of disease 2 weeks to 6 months; ? Age = 18 years; ? Active dorsiflexion of at least 10° at the affected wrist, with at least 10° dorsiflexion of at least two fingers other than the thumb; modified Ashworth classification of the affected upper extremity = 1+ grade; ? Independent walking.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patients with unstable condition; ? Moderate and severe cognitive impairment with a score of =24 on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE); ? Other neurological disorders affecting upper limb function; ? Severe upper limb spasticity with Ashworth classification > 2; ? Severe pain with a Visual Analogue Scale/Score (VAS) = 7.
