Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) confirmed diagnosis of novel coronavirus infection combined with pneumonia (diagnostic criteria are described in the Chinese "Treatment protocol for novel coronavirus infection (trial version 10)"); 2) no gastrointestinal obstruction; 3) active participation and completion of several index tests, and participants and their families must provide informed consent and sign the informed consent form; 4) age 60-100 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) inability to participate in follow-up or refusal to sign informed consent; 2) cognitive impairment and profound coma; and 3) incomplete clinical information. We included 63 patients with the intervention as the experimental group and those without the intervention as the control group.;4) gastrointestinal obstruction.
