Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (i) The subject is at an altitude of =3000m during the test; (ii) The subject has not arrived on the plateau for more than 24 hours; ? acute mild altitude sickness score = 4 along with a total LLSS score = 3 and at least 1 headache (evaluated within 6 to 72 h of onset); ? age = 18 years and < 65 years; ? no experience of living and working in a plateau within 2 months; ?not having participated in another clinical trial within 3 months; ? Voluntary participation in this study and signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (i) those who develop clinically defined plateau pulmonary oedema or plateau cerebral oedema after entry into the group; ?Persons with chronic headache, dizziness, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and digestive system diseases before entering the plateau. (iii) Combination of other serious diseases such as malignant tumours and psychiatric disorders that affect the evaluation of this study; ? Contraindicated for electroacupuncture: e.g. those with pacemakers. ? Those with oral ulcers or bleeding, other oral lesions or poor oral hygiene; (vi) Those taking oral contraceptives.
