18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)18-80 years old; 2) Meet any of the following indications to take renal biopsy: (1) primary kidney diseases including nephritis syndrome and nephrotic syndrome (2) secondary kidney diseases (3) renal failure of unknown causes (4) patients who have asymptomatic microscopic hematuria or/and proteinuria, but have family history of kidney diseases (5) patients with renal transplantation exhibit proteinuria, hematuria, and/or renal dysfunction (6) patients who need repeated renal biopsy based on clinical evaluation. 3) Voluntarily sign an informed consent form. 4) Have clear contact information and contact person, and be able to complete regular follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Renal biopsy cannot be performed due to any contraindications:(1) Obvious bleeding tendency (2) Mental disorders unable to cooperate with procedures (3) Solitary kidney (4) End stage pyelonephritis (5) Active infections including acute pyelonephritis and active renal tuberculosis (6) Renal tumors; 2) The number of glomeruli in renal tissue <5,unable to complete pathological diagnosis; 3) The follow-up time is less than 3 months; 4) Disagree to cooperate in completing follow-up.
