Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients must be >= 18 years old at diagnosis; 2. Patient with histopathological diagnosis of melanoma (including cutaneous, acral and mucosal melanoma); 3. To be eligible for Cohort 1: (1) patients with advanced stage MEL (unresectable stage III /stage IV) ; (2) initiated first systemic treatment for advanced or unresectable disease during screening period (Sep 1st, 2018 and Mar 31, 2022). Note: Mucosal melanoma does not require staging. Patients with distant metastases/ unresectable disease can be enrolled. 4. To be eligible for Cohort 2, patients must have initiated any treatment during screening period (Sep 1st, 2018 and Mar 31, 2022) for newly diagnosed high risk early stage MEL (stage IIB/C and resectable stage III). Patient has at least one follow-up record. Note: Mucosal melanoma does not require staging. Patients with local or local regional disease can be enrolled. 5. Patient (or his/her legally acceptable representative, as applicable) must provide written informed consent unless (in case the patient is deceased) a waiver of consent has been granted by the IRB of the study site.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient was diagnosed with uveal melanoma; 2. Patient with multiple primary cancers as reported in EMR; 3. Patient is enrolled in an interventional clinical trial for any line of systemic anti-cancer therapy treatment relating to their melanoma diagnosis.
