18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria are: (1) Diagnosed by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as first event subcortical ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke between 3 months to 12 months following stroke onset; (2) Age between 18 and 80 years; (3) Unilateral upper and hand hemiplegia in Brunnstrom grade I-IV; (4). No significant cognitive impairment (Mini-Mental Status Examination Chinese version, MMSE-Ch = 27).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria are: (1) Unable to perform MP; (2) Severe aphasia, sensory disturbance, apraxia, or neglect; (3) Significant pain on the affected side (Ten-point Visual Analog Scale >4); (4) Unable to cooperate complete training and evaluation for any reason.
