55 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Meet the diagnostic criteria of postherpetic trigeminal neuralgia determined by the Classification Committee of the International Society of Head and Face Pain; 2) The pain site is the distribution area of trigeminal nerve branch V2 and/or V3; 3) VAS score > 6; 4) Fail or cannot tolerate adverse reactions after drug treatment; 5) Aged 55-85; 6) Course of disease =90 days, frequency of breakthrough pain =3 times /24h; 7) Voluntarily receive electrical saving stimulation via foramen ovale and sign informed consent; 8) Agree to participate in the study follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Uncontrolled severe hypertension, heart disease and other diseases, cannot tolerate surgery; 2) coagulation dysfunction; 3) Infection at the puncture site; 4) Obvious pitting of cheek skin caused by tooth loss or other factors; 5) Patients with severe mental or other diseases cannot correctly perform pain score or objectively describe symptoms or cooperate with surgery; 6) The pain site included trigeminal nerve V1 branch; 7) Participating in or having participated in other types of clinical trials within the past 1 month; 8) Acute cerebrovascular disease
