Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ?Patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes;?Age = 60 years; ?Ability to communicate normally in Mandarin; ?Ability to complete the questionnaire independently or with the help of the researcher;? Not less than 16 natural teeth;? Ability to take care of themselves and complete operations such as brushing and rinsing on their own.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ?have combined other serious complications; ?have mental illness, emotional disorders;? have used hormones, antibiotics, have received cleaning, scraping within 3 months; ?have received systematic periodontal treatment in the past 1 year.
