Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Research content 1- Healthy middle-aged and elderly population: 1. Aged 40-75 years, right-handed, physically and mentally healthy, with normal vision or corrected vision; 2. Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score > 23; 3. Cooperate with the research and voluntarily sign an informed consent form. Research Content 2- Stroke Patients: 1. Aged 40-75 years, right-handed, with normal or corrected vision; 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for stroke, first onset, lesion involving one hemisphere, onset within 48 hours of admission and course within 6 months; 3. Clear consciousness, stable vital signs, stable condition, and no mental disorders; 4. Cooperate with the research and voluntarily sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Healthy middle-aged and elderly population/stroke patients: 1. Unable to sign or understand the consent form; 2. tACS contraindications: Use of implantable electronic devices, metal implants in the skull, heart, and blood vessels, local skin damage or inflammation in the stimulation area, or hyperalgesia; 3. Drug therapy for any neurological disorder or epilepsy; 4. Currently participating in other clinical studies.
