Experimental group 2:Muscle strengthening training with wearable ultrasound imaging systems with visual feedback on the affected and unaffected side
Experimental group 3:Muscle training without visual feedback of muscle contraction pattern on ultrasound images

Age
40 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. unilateral hemiplegia due to the cerebral hemisphere stroke 2. at least twelve months since the onset of stroke 3. living in community 4. can walk independently without assistive devices for at least ten meters

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. fixed deformities or muscle contractures at foot and ankle 2. cerebellar or brain stem strokes 3. other peripheral/central nervous system dysfunction 4. serious emotional problems 5. severe visual spatial dysfunction 6. active medical problems 7. engaging in other training programs
