Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Have a history of removable partial denture or complete denture restoration, and have no bad oral habits. The remaining mandibular alveolar ridges were classified as classes II and III, with a moderate thickness of the alveolar ridge mucosa, an acceptable tongue position and size, and normal saliva discharge. No bone cusps or oral mucosal disease were observed. There was no abnormal movement of the temporomandibular joint, and the pattern and degree of mouth opening were also typical. The relationship between the maxilla and mandible was normal, and dentures can provide a typical overbite covering relationship. The patients' physical, mental, and psychic states were in good condition, and they had appropriate education and discrimination ability to complete the questionnaire by themselves. During the execution of the experiment, the patients complied well, were able to visit the hospital on schedule, and assisted with the collection of the necessary data.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients did not have a removable partial or complete denture. (2)The mandibular alveolar ridge was type ? or type ?. The mucosa of the alveolar ridge was thin and hyperplasia or soft. The alveolar ridge has obvious bony process which has not been removed. Less saliva volume (3) The relationship between the maxilla and mandible was not normal, and dentures could not provide a typical overbite covering relationship. (4) The patient's basic physical condition was poor, with mental and psychological abnormalities, neuromuscular incoordination or obvious oral and maxillary systemic diseases, poor hearing and understanding ability. (5) Patients' compliance was poor, and they could not visit the hospital regularly to cooperate with data measurement.
