Test group:Minimally invasive visualisation techniques are used throughout the periodontal sequence and the corresponding treatment operations are carried out by trained and qualified periodontists.
Control group:Traditional periodontal sequential treatment, with the corresponding treatment performed by a highly qualified periodontist

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Age 18-65 years; ? Diagnosed as stage III or IV extensive periodontitis according to the 2018 consensus classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions; ? Good compliance and good oral hygiene practices; able to obtain informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Smoking (>10 cigarettes/day); ? Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; ? Those with systemic diseases such as oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc; ? Those who have received periodontal treatment in the past 6 months; ? Those who have taken medication affecting periodontal status such as antibiotics, immunosuppressants and glucocorticoids in the past 6 months; ? Those who, in the opinion of the investigator, are otherwise unsuitable for this clinical trial.
