Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosis of schizophrenia and schizophreniform disorder with ICD-10. (2) Aged 18 - 55 years old, Han nationality, right handedness; (3) Course of disorder not less than 1 year; (4) A score of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale > 70; (5) A score of the Positive And Negative Syndrome Scale = 60; (6) Patient's and his/her family members' informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Contraindication of rTMS or MRI: intracranial hypertension or metal implant(e.g., pacemaker and cochlear prosthesis); (2) Mental retardation, nervous system disease, or severe physical diseases; (3) Traumatic brain injuries; (4) History of alcohol or drug abuse and dependence; (5) Receiving treatment such as MECT that may affect cognitive function due to severe excitement and agitation.
