Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with first-ever acute ischemic stroke and healthy physical examination population during 2023-6 to 2025-6; 2.18 years < age < 80 years; 3. No gender limitation; 4. Complete clinical data and complete follow-up data; 5. Non-pregnant; 6. No antitumor drugs, glucocorticoids or other immunosuppressants have been used in the past 1 month; 7. No active infection within 2 weeks prior to admission; 8. Voluntarily sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Stroke onset > 7 days; 2. Can not cooperate to induce sputum; 3. Antibiotics, prebiotics or probiotics used in the three months prior to admission; 4. Symptoms of gastrointestinal disease within the past three months; 5. Hospital admission 48 hours after the onset of acute ischemic stroke; 6. Active infection within 2 weeks prior to admission; 7. Failure to provide stool samples and sputum samples within 48 hours after admission.
