Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective thoracic surgery with double-lumen endobronchial intubation under general anesthesia and undergoing pulmonary, mediastinal or chest wall surgery; 2. Aged >= 18 years; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I-III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Preexisting sore throat and hoarseness; 2. The history of upper respiratory tract infection in the past 1 week; 3. Patients with known intubation difficulties, including mouth opening less than 3.5 cm, Mallampati grade 3-4, head backward limitation; 4. Steroids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were used within 3 days before surgery; 5. Allergic to magnesium sulfate; 6. The nasogastric tube was inserted 24 hours before operation or within 24 hours after operation.
