Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Over 18 years old. (2) Enteral nutrition support was expected within 24-48 hours after admission to ICU. (3) Expected duration of nasogastric enteral nutrition =7 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Delayed enteral feeding: uncontrollable shock (norepinephrine >0.4µg/kg/min), active upper gastrointestinal bleeding, intestinal ischemia, intestinal obstruction, abdominal compartment syndrome after active resuscitation. (2) Unable to perform phase Angle measurement: patients with pacemaker or implantable defibrillator, amputees or limb prostheses, and impaired skin integrity at the measurement site. (3) Unable to perform indirect calorimetry measurement: pneumothorax, bronchial fistula, and chest drainage. (4) Others: end-stage patients, DNR, brain death, pregnancy, liver transplantation, burns.
