Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Meeting the American Diabetes Association's diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus 2) Clinical diagnosis of chronic kidney disease: the following renal structural or functional abnormalities persist > 3 months ? eGFR < 60ml/min/1.73m2 or ? abnormal urine protein such as proteinuria 1+ or random urine albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR) = 30mg/g or ? histology or imaging showing renal abnormalities. 3) The following inclusion criteria were also met: (i) age 18-70 years; (ii) have been using basic treatment for more than three months, antihypertensive drugs such as ARB, other non-SGLT2i hypoglycemic drugs, statin lipid-lowering drugs, etc.; (iii) Patients who were initially treated with SGLT2i and tested for body composition analysis, while at the same time, the patient was tested again for body composition at 6 months of treatment with SGLT2i
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Entering end-stage renal disease (eGFR <15ml/min/1.73m2 or on renal replacement therapy) 2) Patients with malignancy, cirrhosis or severe infection 3) Pregnant or breastfeeding patients 4) Patients treated with glucocorticoids
