Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.over 18 years old and signed informed consent 2.Fit the diagnostic criteria of Sepsis 3.0. For ICU infections or suspected infections, SOFA scores increase over 2 points compared with baseline. For non-ICU infections or suspected infections, qSOFA scores are over 2 points. All included patients should be admitted within 12 hours after diagnosis of sepsis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Included patients are excluded if they met any of the following criteria. 1.Pregnant or lactating women. 2.Unable to remove the source of infection. 3.A known history of radiation or chemotherapy. 4.Known of end-stage diseases, immunodeficiency diseases, agranulocytosis, long tern use of hormones over physiological replacement doses, history of organ or bone marrow transplantation, hemochromatosis, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, kidney stones, oxalate disorders, gout, cysteinuria, sideroblastic anemia or thalassemia, sickle cell anemia. 5.Known of refuse or inability to comply with test protocol for any reason.
