18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: T2DM Inclusion Criteria: (1) Age 18-65 years old; (2) At least junior high school education; (3) Type 2 diabetes mellitus meeting the 2019 WHO diagnostic criteria; (4) Absence of internal pacemakers or metallic materials, eligible for MRI examination; (5) Right-handed; (6) Informed consent signed by the patient or their legal guardian. HC Inclusion Criteria: (1) Age, gender, and education level matching the patient group; (2) No history of diabetes, no severe cardiac, cerebral, or renal diseases, no history of alcohol or drug abuse, and no family history of mental disorders; (3) Absence of internal pacemakers or metallic materials, eligible for MRI examination; (4) Right-handed; (5) Informed consent signed by the patient or their legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Dementia (Montreal Cognitive Assessment [MoCA] score <22; Mini-Mental State Examination [MMSE] score: =22 for high school level (including vocational school), =23 for university level (including junior college)); Activities of Daily Living Scale score <100; (2) Concurrent malignant tumors, brain diseases, thyroid dysfunction, other severe physical illnesses, or mental disorders; (3) Abuse or dependence on psychoactive substances, including alcohol, tobacco, or drugs; (4) Pregnant or breastfeeding women; (5) Patients unable to engage in effective interviews due to physical or mental conditions.
