12 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) residents of the tested community aged 12 years or older who had been diagnosed with diabetes; (2) good compliance, able to cooperate with the physician to receive annual checkups and increase the number of follow-up examinations if necessary; (3) resident population in the tested community; (4) community physicians in the experimental and control groups.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) those with refractive media clouding, severe keratitis, corneal leukoplakia, severe cataracts and other fundus inaccessible; (2) those with age-related macular degeneration, retinal artery blockage, retinal vein blockage, retinal vasculitis or severe hypertensive retinopathy and other non-DR-induced fundus disease; (3) those with serious systemic diseases such as cardiac insufficiency, cerebral thrombosis, cerebral hemorrhage or malignancy. (4) Those who are unwilling to give consent or who have been treated for ocular disease in hospital within two weeks before the start of the study will be excluded; (5) Those who have not completed questionnaires, physical examinations, glucose tolerance tests or blood tests; (6) Those who have not completed fundus image examination for various reasons.
