Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18-30 years old with permanent dentition; (2) Never received orthodontic treatment; (3) Orthodontic design needs to move the mandibular second molars forward to close the space between the mandibular first molars; (4) The mandible on the missing side The second molar exists, the development of the crown and root is basically normal, and the remaining teeth have no periodontal disease; (5) The third molar on the side of the first molar is missing or needs to be extracted, the size and shape are normal, and the volume of the crown is greater than 70% of the second molar , the angle with the long axis of the second molar is <60°; (6) The tooth under examination has not received restorative treatment; (7) The preoperative data are complete, and the cephalometric and full-mouth tomograms are clearly discernible; (8) ) in good general condition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Absence or abnormal morphology of the third molar; (2) Orthodontic treatment history, temporomandibular joint history and trauma history.
