Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age > 18 years old; (2) Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) =13 points; (3) Mild dry eye patients with mean non-invasive tear film rupture time (A-NITBUT) 10 s were included in the preclinical dry eye group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All subjects had neuropathic pain, allergic conjunctivitis, Sjögrens syndrome, lacrimal obstruction or other diseases. Subjects were also excluded if they had dry eye treatment or used contact lenses within 1 month, if they had a history of eye trauma or surgery or subjects with serious systemic diseases.
