Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients older than 45 years old (2) Patients admitted for hip fracture (3) Patients scheduled for surgical treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) multiple fractures throughout the body (2) chronic pain disease before fracture (3) patients unable to score pain (4) patients who are chronically dependent on opioids (5) patients with severe cognitive impairment (6) patients who refuse to participate in the study
