Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: immediate postoperative transfer to ICU, treatment time in ICU = 2 days; fasting from food and drink time = 2 days; age = 18 years; conscious and able to communicate normally; voluntary participation in this study and signed informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: unstable vital signs; diseases affecting salivation or oropharyngeal diseases, such as oral inflammation and neurological diseases; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or interstitial lung disease
