Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women aged 18-40 with a single term pregnancy who request epidural labor analgesia should have a cervical dilation of 5, and an American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I-II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intraspinal analgesia is contraindicated; Hypertension (including chronic hypertension, hypertension and preeclampsia during pregnancy), gestational diabetes mellitus, giant fetus, BMI=40kg/m2, fetal distress or patients who use other methods of analgesia are all contraindications for this procedure. Additionally, the use of ropivacaine or sufentanil is also contraindicated.
