Oral and intestinal microbiome alterations after taking gastric acid inhibitors

Interventions

Control:Take probiotics approximately 1 hour after breakfast for seven consecutive days.
PPI:Take PPI approximately 0.5 hour before breakfast for seven consecutive days, then continue taking PPI approximately 0.5 hour before breakfast for another seven consecutive days while taking probio
H2RA:Take H2RA approximately 0.5 hour after breakfast for seven consecutive days, then continue taking H2RA approximately 0.5 hour after breakfast for another seven consecutive days while taking probi

18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 18 - 45 years 2. 19 kg/m2=BMI=24 kg/m2 3. no smoking and no history of alcohol abuse 4. good physical health, without severe diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, or impaired liver and kidney function 5. no severe oral diseases, no gastrointestinal diseases 6. no use of antibiotics, probiotics, or gastric acid inhibitors within the previous three months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Long-term smoking or have a history of drug or alcohol abuse 2. Use of antibiotics, probiotics, or gastric acid inhibitors within the previous three months 3. Having cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and other related conditions 4. Having long-term chronic oral or gastrointestinal diseases
