Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Age =18 years old, gender unlimited; b. Patient meets the diagnostic criteria for sepsis 3.0 (positive or suspected infection with SOFA=2 points) ; c. Patient meets the AGI diagnostic criteria [(ESICM) 2012 Recommendation AGI severity rating ; d. Informed consent signed by the patient or his or her family.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Combined with underlying gastrointestinal diseases (tumor, tuberculosis, inflammatory diseases, etc.); b. Gastrointestinal surgery; c. Patients with terminal disease who are expected to die within 24 hours; d. Patients with neurogenic shock, cerebrovascular accident, or craniocerebral trauma; e. Patients clear infection foci affect the reliability of the study; f. Patients with definite hemorrhagic disease.
