18 Years to 51 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) have a total score above 52 on the SIAS scale or above 42 on the SPS scale; (2) are aged 18 years or older; (3) have never been diagnosed with any mental illness or disorder by an official medical authority; (4) have not taken any psychotropic medication within the last year; (5) have not received any form of psychotherapy or psychological counselling within the last six months. (6) Fulfils the statement in the MINI for social anxiety disorder.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Moderate or high risk of suicide. (2) Meets any of the MINI assessments for (mild) mania, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol abuse and substance dependence, psychotic disorder, eating disorder and antisocial personality disorder.
