Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Chronic pain group: (1)Participants are genetically diagnosed with DMD; (2) aged 8-18 years; (3) experienced pain during the last week, and the pain has persisted or reccured for more than 3 months. Pain-free group: (1)Participants are genetically diagnosed with DMD; (2) aged 8-18 years; (3) did not experienced any pain during the past year or experienced mild pain (NPRS = 2) but without significant impact on daily activities. Health control group: (1) Males; (2) aged 8-18 years; (3) did not experienced any pain during the past year or experienced mild pain (NPRS = 2) but without significant impact on daily activities.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Participants have cognitive impairments who are unable to understand the researcher's questions or cannot accurately express their personal feelings; (2) have recent surgeries within 6 months; (3) are diagnosed with other diseases except for DMD, such as infectious diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, severe depression, etc.
