Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients with stress urinary incontinence (SUI) older than 18-82 years old underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from December 2, 2013 to February 2023, and healthy female volunteers older than 18-82 years old were recruited during the same period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria (exclude all subjects below) : 1) History of stress incontinence surgery, 2) history of abdominal and pelvic surgery within 6 months prior to surgery, 3) urinary tract infections, 4) history of neurological or psychiatric disorders, 5) ? degrees of pelvic organ prolapse (excluding anterior vaginal wall prolapse), 6) uncertain menopausal status, 7) urge incontinence or combination incontinence, 8) cancer, 9) unknown history of vaginal bleeding. 10) Receiving systemic or topical hormone therapy (including the use of oral contraceptives and the use of vaginal estrogen, ingestion of selective estrogen receptor or androgen receptor modulators), and 12) being unable to read and sign informed consent.
