40 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Female participants aged 40-60 years; 2.According to STRAW+10(Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop +10), women who meet the criteria for early postmenopause; 3.Record the hot flash score for 7 consecutive days and the total score is equal to or more than 6; 4.Diagnosed with kidney yin deficiency; 5.Patients who voluntarily participate in this study and sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Women who are experiencing VMS that started or became worse after diagnosis of breast cancer or commencing treatment for breast cancer; 2.Women who have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) , primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) or Premature ovarian failure (POF); 3.Those who have undergone hysterectomy, endometrial ablation or amenorrhoea caused by medical reasons; 4.Those who have used any medication or complementary therapy in the past two months to treat hot flashes or who are taking hormonal medications; 5.The patients who are suffering from the hyperthyroidism, poorly controlled hypothyroidism, severe mental illness or serious physical illness; 6.The patients who received acupuncture within 6 months before admission; 7.The patients who are pregnant or lactating.
